    About Vaginal Steaming

Vaginal steaming, also known as yoni steaming or v-steaming have been around in ancient indigenous cultures to Asia, Africa, Australia and South America for centuries.  It is the practice in which a woman allows the warmth of herbal steam to permeate the vagina to cleanse and revitalize the uterus.  Although this process most commonly reduces discomfort associated with menstruation, there are much more benefits. Our steams uses a combination of specially formulated herbal blends dependent on each individual’s needs. Each session also includes a complimentary water to stay hydrated.

    Why steam?

Vaginal steaming has been documented to have many benefits to a woman’s overall reproductive health. Women suffering from cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), frequent infections, heavy menses, or painful cramps have gotten positive outcomes from steaming. Furthermore, a post-partum cleansing of the womb is essential after delivery to prevent infections, uterine prolapse, or other adverse outcomes. Steaming monthly can also be used as a preventative method to obtaining infections. Frequency of steaming varies individually and depends on each client’s needs.

Benefits include decrease in heavy bleeding and period cramping.  Brings back “missing periods.”  Decreases length of period (typically reduces period to 5 days). Increases fertility. Causes shrinkage or disappearance of cysts and fibroids. Cleanse uterus of yeast and bacteria. Helps to release womb trauma. Increase libido and sexual sensations. Improves circulation. Decreases PMS symptoms. Balances hormones. Prevents ingrown hairs.
